Äva Berlin is a published writer and consultant on art projects. She is known for gaining attention for brands and causes, primarily through the production of memorable art happenings and fundraisers. She’s responsible for creating over 600 unforgettable nights for crowds in cities across the US.
Äva was the Senior Director at SZ Advisory, an international art consultancy firm currently based in Zürich. The firm thrives serving private collectors as well as corporate clients. The team at SZ Advisory guides private clients through the process of art procurement using tailored consultations, site and studio visits, private viewings, gallery tours, and auctions worldwide.
Alongside Ben Lee Ritchie Handler (Global Director, Nicodim Gallery), Äva co-founded a private event space in downtown Los Angeles from 2012-2015. She worked with Gagosian, NeueHouse, Soho House, the LA Art Book Fair, Piero Golia's Chalet, Edition Hotels, Frieze Art Fairs, Vogue.com, Vanity Fair, and the Ace Hotel through their endeavours.
Äva has spent brief stints living in Europe, South America and Central America and divided her time between California and New York for nearly a decade. She is now based in Manhattan.
